Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Merry Christmas to you; may the joy of the season be with us all. May the birth of Christ continue to make meaning in our hearts.

When it was time for Jesus to be born, the Bible says, he was given birth to and laid in a manger because there was no room for him in the inn. The manger was the alternate birthplace of Jesus because they couldn’t find him a space in the inn.

When I read the account, I asked myself what was going on in the mind of the manager of the inn for him to have turned away a heavily pregnant woman. I also asked myself how he felt when he eventually discovered that the baby was no ordinary child.

We actually have benefit of hindsight that is why I could ask such questions, but the truth is that many people kept doing the same thing to the risen Christ!

The inn manager did it to the unborn Jesus but many people today are doing same to the Saviour. It will interest you to know that for many, Jesus is not given first place. He is completely kept out of the lives of many people, believers inclusive.

Many make decisions without him. Many push him back to the manger daily.

Friend, Jesus is not just our Saviour, he is our Lord! He want to be involved in our day to day activities. Our union with him is a lifelong relationship, not a one-off thing that happened the day you become born again.

Jesus craves for a permanent relationship with us but he will never force himself on us. Hear this:

Revelation 3:20 “Behold I stand at the door, and knock if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

INTANGIBLE WEALTH

INTANGIBLE WEALTH
1Kings 10:13 “And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.”

The queen of Sheba gave material possessions to king Solomon but what she got in return far outweighs that. The king compensated her with intangible wealth.

Our focal scripture says, “And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty”.

There are things beyond material wealth that every one of us needs in life. Those things cannot just be gotten ordinarily, they are provoked. That is why sowing seeds is very powerful.

This woman got physical answers and sow seeds but at that junction the king gave her all her desires and royal bounty. The royal bounty here represents the intangible resources that made him king.

There is grace upon a great man that is provoked when you sow seeds into his life. There are intangible ingredients that has gotten him to where he is which can be provoked.

Hebrews 7:7 “Yet it is beyond all contradiction that it is the lesser person who is blessed by the greater one.” (AMP)

You provoke this dimension by sowing seeds into the life of the “greater”, serving in one capacity or the other and honouring him or her. The queen of Sheba was very wise.

Hear me; there are things money can buy and things money cannot buy, and you must know how to pull them both into your life. Seed is a powerful tool in the hands of a skillful man.

When you sow to God, the King of kings, he releases things that money cannot buy such as favour, protection, wisdom, longevity and connections. Solomon himself became a man of wisdom and wealth when he released material seed to God.

There is something called royal bounty, it is a reward that makes kings rule and reign, you trigger it by seeds. If you see somebody that has gone ahead of you in one are or the other, sow seeds into their grace and watch intangible wealth come to you!

THE OTHER HALF

THE OTHER HALF
1Kings 10:7 “Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard”

When Solomon finished answering all the questions of the queen of Sheba, she made some very outstanding confessions.

She told Solomon that she didn’t believe all what was being said about him until she came and saw with her own eyes. She confessed that all what was said was nothing compared to the reality on ground.

Here is the interesting part, she said “half was not told her”. In order words, there is another side to the wealth, wisdom and influence of Solomon.

Friend, there is another side to you which men are yet to see. It is a glorious side which I call the other half. Whatever is going on in your life right now is nothing compared to the other half. There is grace and glory in your future.

There is more to you than meet the eyes. The successes you have encountered are nothing compared to what God will yet do in your life. Your life is not small, it is high time you step into the other half.

In the same vein, if you’re going through a challenging time at the moment, that is not the end. The present trouble doesn’t define you. Don’t get stuck in the challenges of today, there is a colorful future ahead.

Your later must surely be greater than your former. Where God is taking you to is great and you must get there.

Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

Your journey in life must keep getting better and better. Whatever men has seen about you in nothing compared to what they are yet to see.

1Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written Eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

I pray for you today, your glorious other half will show forth in Jesus name. Every wall of limitation around you is removed now in Jesus name!

SOLVE PROBLEMS

SOLVE PROBLEMS
1Kings 10:3 “And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.”

1Kings 10:10 “And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.”

Every man on earth will be rich to the degree of the problems they solve. You will be rewarded in accordance to the solutions you proffer. When you solve problems for the mighty and noble, they reward you accordingly.

What comes to you is proportionate to the nature of the problems you solve. When you solve giant problems, you receive handsome rewards. I’ve watched people pray without willing to solve problems. When you give out value you will be rewarded.

Solomon solved problems for the queen of Sheba by answering all her questions and she released wealth to him. Life is designed in such a way that you’re compensated for the problems you solve for others.

Men generally are looking for people who can solve problems for them. Everything on earth is created to solve a problem. All you need do is correctly position yourself as a problem solver and wealth begin to gravitate towards you.

The more the people you solve problems for, the more the wealth that comes to you. If you solve problems for a thousand men, a thousand men pay you. Enlarge your reach. Expand your problem solving capability and watch as men compensate you.

Solomon didn’t go about begging, he simply position himself as a problem solver and people began to troop into his domain in search of answers.

1Kings 10:24 “And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.”

1Kings 10:25 “And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.”

Two questions you need to answer are; What problems am I solving? Who am I solving them for? Your breakthrough in life are tied to the answers!

HARD QUESTIONS

HARD QUESTIONS
1Kings 10:1 “And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.”

In the context of scriptures, the queen of Sheba is a gentile queen representing the world system while Solomon represents God’s Kingdom, because his fame was connected to God.

When the queen of Sheba heard of his fame, she came to prove or test him with hard or very difficult questions. The system of the world has failed and they are turning to the men and women that represents the Kingdom of God for answers.

All through scriptures men and women always run to God when things becomes difficult. At a point in history, the whole of Egypt was stranded and desperately in need of answers. Their magicians and astrologers couldn’t proffer the needed solution until Joseph eventually showed up.

Joseph brought the Kingdom dimension and Egypt was preserved from famine. The young man completely outclassed and out thought the Egyptian magicians using the might and intelligence of the Divine.

In the same vein, at some point in history, Babylon got stranded, even though about the strongest nation on earth. It took the intervention of God through Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to rescue them.

Hear this:

Daniel 5:12 “Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, INTERPRETING OF DREAMS, and SHEWING OF HARD SENTENCES, and DISSOLVING OF DOUBTS, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called and he will shew the interpretation.” (Emphasis mine)

There is a capacity in every believer to solve hard sentences, dissolve doubts and bring answers to puzzles. This is one of the reasons why we are here.

There is a divine ability in every believer called the Holy Ghost. He is heaven’s intelligence and think tank. Every time we call upon Him he shows up with answers.

The reason why people will always come around you is because of the problems or hard questions you can proffer answers to.

When the system of the world approach you with hard questions, may you have answers in Jesus name!

The reason why God gave us the name of Jesus is such that, we can be named with the name of the Lord and obtain results for his name’s sake.

This a deep secret that every believer must understand!

Philippians 2:10 “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”

The name of Jesus is a winning name, it is far superior to every other name that may rise up against us. This name supersedes demonic oppressions, sickness, poverty and other names that can ever come against us.

As long as what comes against you has a name, it must bow!

We are products of God, he places his name on us as a warranty, this can however be broken or becomes void and of none effect if you take the product to unauthorized dealers!

If you have any challenges, go back to the Creator and owner of the name. Don’t go to an unauthorized dealer and source just because the challenges are much. The Owner of the name knows what to do to get you out of any mess in life.

If you want your own name on things excluding his Own, he leaves you on your own. You must therefore wrap whatever you do or intend to do around his own.

The good news however is that no matter who you are and what you have done, you can do a name change! You can be renamed with the name of God and the starting point is by being born again. The moment you give your life to Christ, he places his name on you.

Galatians 6:17 “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”

The name of Jesus shields, preserves and protects. It is the believer’s surest defense mechanism because everything else bows before it. Don’t ever run your life without the name of Jesus being in place, Selah.

The reason why God will restore your soul, save you from death, lead you by ordering your steps and even bring you out of trouble is for his name’s sake! He cannot place his name upon you and not defend you.

When you study the Bible you’ll discover that most Israelites love embedding the name of God in their own names. They made sure that God is named on them practically. Names like Samuel, Ezekiel and Abel means; God had heard, God strengthens and breathe of God respectively.

The “El” in their names means God! They wrap their names around the name of the Almighty. They practically incorporate God into their affairs. They are that determined to be named by the name of God.

Solomon in our focal scripture was equally smart enough to tie everything about his success to God’s name. He understood this principle so well.

When you name everything you do around God, your warranty is in place. Anytime you call upon God in prayer, he checks for his name within the context of your statements, no wonder he said:

John 14:13 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

John 14:14 “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

Mark 16:17 “And these signs shall follow them that believe In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;”

The reason why God gave us the name of Jesus is that we can be named with the name of the Lord and obtain results for his name’s sake.

This a deep secret that every believer must understand!

Numbers 6:27 “And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”

Friend, the reason why many people will be stranded in life is because the name of God is not named on what they’re doing. Whatever God places his name on, he blesses!

The reason why God will do certain great things for man is not because of the man! It is because of his own name. The name of God is his trademark and logo and he cannot afford to watch his name being dragged in the mud of life. His name is his integrity.

When the name of God is named on anything, his integrity is at stake, so he moves in to defend himself! A wise man once said that if companies on earth are wise enough to give you warranty when you obtain their product how much more God; the Creator of heaven and earth.

A warranty is actually a guarantee on purchased goods that they are of the quality represented and will be replaced or repaired if found to be faulty. Big time companies uses this to great effect, to seduce people to buy from them. They do this not because of anything but their name.

They assure their customers of the highest performance of their product and if there is any problem, they vow to correct or replace the item. They do all this because their name or integrity is on the product.

Hear God:

Psalms 23:3 “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

Ezekiel 39:25 “Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;”

Everybody want fame and recognition. Everybody want to be known as authorities in their field of endeavor. People will do anything to earn fame and prominence.

God is not against having fame. See what he did for Joshua:

Joshua 6:27 “So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.”

Here we see God taking it upon himself to give Joshua fame. He announced Jesus after he was baptized as well. However, there is something about fame especially the fame of Solomon as shown in our focal scripture.

The Bible says: “And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD…”

Even though Solomon had fame, it was connected to the name of the Lord!

1Kings 10:1 “The queen of Sheba heard about Solomon and his connection with the Name of GOD. She came to put his reputation to the test by asking tough questions.” (MSG)

God does not have issues with you having fame as long as it is going to be connected with His name. Any fame that is not traceable to Jehovah God is fake and won’t last. God is always ready to glorify Himself in our lives as long as we are connected to him.

The question is this: Why do you want the fame you so much crave for? Is it for self-aggrandizement, popularity or to show off. God knows the intent of the heart of man and will not be fooled by what we tell him at the place of prayers.

God want to partner with us, provided he will be glorified. Any success or fame outside God is a counterfeit. Once God can place his name on something, he becomes committed to it.

Numbers 6:27 “And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”

TROPHY

TROPHY
1Samuel 17:54 “And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.”

David went to battle but did not return empty handed. Goliath and the Philistine also went for the same battle but became the trophy. You cannot afford to be an onlooker in the game of life, hear this:

1Corinthians 9:24 “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run that ye may obtain”

1Corinthians 9:24 “You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win.” (MSG)

Paul made us know that not everyone will end up with trophies but for us we must win. David didn’t go back home with just stories of what he saw, he was a partaker who went home with spoils of war. He carried the head of Goliath as evidence and trophy.

Note that trophies are not given to quitters, deserters and spectators. They are given to participants. Think deeply; what you are currently doing, will you end up with trophies, cheer others or end up empty handed?

You actions and even inactions will go a long way in determining the outcome of your life. Whatever you do must be deliberate, carefully thought and planned out. Don’t join the mob, you have your own race to run.

Many people may be running but you must make up your mind to be the one that will obtain.

Revelations 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

Revelations 21:7 “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

There is a special place reserved for the overcomer and you must make up your mind to overcome. Spectators may shout and lose their voices, that doesn’t hand them the trophy. You must run so that you’ll obtain!

I pray for you today, you will have exceptional results in life and destiny in Jesus name. Every day you go out, you will return with harvests and spoils of war in Jesus name!
